Results of "Youth Digital Ambassador" Award Announced at International Internet Security School for Youth.GDF During Global Digital Forum in Nizhny Novgorod

The "Youth Digital Ambassador" award ceremony was held at the "International Internet Security School for Youth.GDF", organized by the Youth Digital Ombudsman team as part of the Global Digital Forum.

The "Youth Digital Ambassador" award aims to identify talented young leaders interested in developing the international youth IT community and contributing to digital technology advancement. The competition had two stages: in-person and remote. Participants submitted video introductions and one-year activity plans that were evaluated by the Youth Digital Ombudsman team. The top three nominees from Iraq, Brazil and Sierra Leone were selected to present their programs on June 5 to all track participants.

A Youth Digital Ambassador is someone who shares the values of the Youth Digital Ombudsman team and is ready to become part of it by uniting socially active youth in their country.

"Today's youth are the drivers of development. In this era of digital transformation, it is especially important to listen to the younger generation as they are the future of every nation and the whole world. The 'International Internet Security School for Youth.GDF' track has united youth from around the world into an IT community shaping our common future. We are united by the shared goal of making digital space safe and trustworthy. I am confident this will help protect human rights," said Dmitry Gulyaev, Youth Digital Ombudsman.

Based on voting by youth track participants and the Youth Digital Ombudsman, Christian Souza (Brazil) was named Youth Digital Ambassador and will join the international team of motivated young IT leaders. Together with the other two nominees – Barham Kamiran Jalil (Iraq) and Alfred Osman Kamara (Sierra Leone) – the Youth Digital Ambassador will work with the Youth Digital Ombudsman team to build a global youth IT community.

Additionally, the top 10 most active participants of the "International Internet Security School for Youth.GDF" track were recognized, representing Mozambique, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Iraq. Awards were presented by Youth Digital Ombudsman Dmitry Gulyaev and Sergey Kulakov, Director of the Cyberpolygon Department at Solar Group.

In addition to gifts, the winners received invitations to participate without competitive selection in the flagship project of the Youth Digital Ombudsman and Kutafin University (MSAL) - the International Youth Internet Safety School, which will be held for the fourth time in fall 2025 at the "Senesh" Management Workshop of the "Russia – Land of Opportunity" presidential platform.
